Just spoke to Fred Jackson, the 3-star defensive back from Houston, who visited NDSU over the weekend.
He said he enjoyed his visit and was surprised it wasn’t colder. He still has a visit to Navy scheduled, which he plans to take. Navy has also offered him, and so have Prairie View and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. He also says there is a possibility that Rice and Louisiana-Monroe could offer and it sounds like he’d like to stay closer to home. Says he is fine waiting until signing day to make a decision.

Dear Fred, I’m sure you read this blog, so I just wanted to tell you that it gets WAY, WAY COLDER HERE!! Sometimes it’s so cold it takes your breath away. It actually physically hurts to be out in it. It is beyond miserable. Hope this helps!
i was introduced to fred at the ndsu/sdsu game while their group sat by us. he was very personable guy, and said he was enjoying the game and his visit and that he was surprised how nice NDSU was and the students he met etc.
very confident kid, and lets hope his tour guides convinced him to choose NDSU.

I saw Fred at the game down in the corner, speaking of ass, there was hottie after hottie after hottie walking by him. So it doesnt matter if he talked to lakes or not, he was watching the blondes, blondes, blondes. I think he’ll come to ndsu.

Sounds like Jackson enjoyed his experience, but that’s probably all it will be for him. It’s hard to adjust to the culture/weather up here I’m sure, but atleast we are getting our name in the schools!

Are you kidding? They took a football recruit to a BASKETBALL game? Thought NDSU was better than that? NDSU didn’t NEED to take recruits to other sporting events. At least that is what lakes and JBB have been feeding us for the past few months.
Im ashamed at the childishness and vulgarity of the UND posters. These types of folks are an embarrassment to UND and in the age of UND embarrassment those types of folks aren’t helping. Just let the pushback from UND proceed without your comments, please. It will only be a year or so and NDSU will be completely demoralized and run down at every corner of the media world. It will be done with class not like children. Please grow up UND posters.
