Roseau prep, Shanley’s Dunn headed to NDSU

This is going to be short and sweet for the moment, but it is confirmed that Roseau linebacker Lyle Norman has verbally committed to NDSU. He measured out at 6-foot-4 and 232 pounds.

Norman will be in Moorhead tonight when the Rams play Moorhead in hockey.

Also, Shanley head coach Steve Laqua said this afternoon that tight end-slotback-receiver Dylan Dunn will play for NDSU as a recruited walkon. He’s 6-2, 210 pounds who is projected as a tight end. Dunn had 42 receptions for 610 yards and eight touchdowns.

“He wants to be an engineer and it’s always been his dream to play at NDSU,” Laqua said. “He’ll do whatever he can to get the opportunity.”

  1. I bet he moves to DE. 232 is already pretty big for a Tampa 2 LB and I’m guessing he’s going to add to that.

  2. Jeff do you have a 40 time on the Roseau kid? How many O-Lineman have we received verbals from? I agree DIBISON it is great getting D-I talent right out of Fargo schools! Go Bison!

    • BF, Kolpack reported on this blog on December 20 the one and only OL so far:

Joshua Colville, 6-3, 280, OL, Minnetonka, MN

Would be nice to get another so we don’t spend so many years thin at one of the most important positions on the team. I know we got 2 in 09 and 5 in 10, but we lose really good talent after next season in Richard and Cornick.

      • What about the O-Lineman who had apparently given a verbal to I think it was Akron but then it sounded like he was undecided again. I think he was out of the cities too? You are right Old Guy it is one of the most important positions on the team. Just ask the Montana State coach what he thinks of the Bison Offensive line.

        • I think you are talking about Joe Bjorklund from Rosemount. He intially committed to Toledo. He is going to greyshirt this semester with the UofM.
