The Saturday Morning Sports Show from 9-11 gets into Bison spring football with head coach Craig Bohl at 10:05 a.m. We’ve got so many questions to ask him that we don’t know where to start. Also, former Bison offensive lineman Michael Arndt joins us to talk about the hopes of pro football.
And: Minnesota high school basketball; Brad Schlossman joins us from Green Bay. And since it’s our last show of the season (the last time you can hear our hit theme song), it’s time for the SMSS Media Awards!
Ask Coach Bohl if there are any transfers that have joined the Bison in addition to the NDSCS cornerback.
Will do. Any other questions?
I’d be interested to hear how John Crockett is doing on his academic progress. As talented of a stable of backs as the Bison have I think if he’s able to get his academics in order a la Marcus Williams he could be the starter in 2012 once DJ is gone.
Can you ask Bohl what the depth chart at the WR position looks like? Holloway-Howard are most like 1-2 right now, but hearing how guys like Vraa and Gebhart are developing would awesome too, as well as a guy who was pretty quiet last season in Reed Duchscher. Gotta get more production out of the WRs and obviously the QB is a big part of that but I feel like WR has been down the past two seasons. Thanks for all the coverage guys, you do a great job.
It would be interesting to hear what Bohl has to say about utilizing Sigers, Ojuri, Voigtlander, and others in our offense assuming DJ is our guy. It was nice to see them utilizing Siger’s speed on those few end-arounds towards the end of the season. But it would be tough to see all that talent standing on the sidelines when we could be using all that speed on the edges. Can’t wait to hear what he has to say about everything! Thanks for all you guys do!
Go Herd!
Ask him if he would consider replacing “whale” with some other mammal for this season’s interviews.
Ask him about the center position. These three guys played center last year. What are their strengths or areas they are working on.
Richard
Heinz
Lund
I think the O-Line and D-Line will be interesting position battles.
Ask him about the QB situation. How is Brock looking, fully recovered? Has Jose put on any weight (muscle mass)? We really want to know about his thoughts on Esley? Could any of these guys help out in other positions, ie Dante as receiver?
Thanks for the time with Coach Bohl. I would have liked more time though, after all football and basketball are the sports that people really care about. Maybe during spring ball we can get some more. Thanks!
thanks for the coverage from green bay yesterday; it made the show. big showdown on espn u later today between denver and north dakota. it’s just awesome to have one north dakota school once again competing on the national stage at the highest level.
REGIONAL , niche, cute, lacrosse, rpi, merrimack……take your pick. I did watch women’s bball, bowling, D2 NATL bball title game on CBS. it was a fun day!
fanman. 4,297 paid attendance, maybe 3,297 actual at your precious curling game. Further proof that espn is right in showing LAST years world series of poker at 4-6 today, yawn.
it was at a neutral site, and lots of Sioux fans there considering the distance. how many were in attendance for the “big class b” football game at eastern washington? oh never mind you lost that one to the eventual champions from the Big Sky.
Funny you should mention class “b” because my hometown school participated in a regional boys basketball tournament this year that had a larger attendance for its championship game than UND’s curling match today. I also find it funny that you bash the division of football in which your school participates and has a losing record in said division. Heads are frozen up north I guess.
Just keep scheduling those NAIA, whoops, mean transitioning D-II teams. SD School of Mines in 2012? BAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAAAAAA. Pathetic.
