Last November, Jeff and I ventured into the world of bracketology and it’s safe to say I think we correctly predicted 17 of the 20 teams that made the FCS playoffs. North Dakota State being one of the 17 we had correct. 1st thing that pops out at you? A repeat trip for the Bison back to Bozeman to play Montana State? Not sure if you could script that again…also no MVFC team at home in 2nd round, Southern Illinois hosting a 1st round, but both Missouri Valley teams on the road(UNI and NDSU) you have to believe that the MVFC champ is worth hosting a 2nd round game yes, especially when it’s guaranteed sellouts at UNI and in Fargo? Georgia Southern grabs the top seed, and the FCS’ new favorite team to hate Central Arkansas is in the field(they of the grey and purple turf) What do you think Bison fans of the bracket?

If this happened, I highly doubt the Bison would be traveling to Bozeman.
That’s correct, even with the expansion of Bobcat Stadium it still only holds 17,200. 1500 less than the Fargodome. If both teams are unseeded I’m pretty sure you’ll see Taylor outbid MSU for the home field.
What do I think? Not sure after turning 50 that my liver could handle another trip to Bozeman. Make the Kitties come to Fargo (probably not good for the liver either).
Let’s win 11 in a row and make this prediction look horrible. After we do that I don’t think we’ll be going to Bozeman but you never know.
I notice no Montana in the field for a 2nd year in a row?….doubt that will happen. If it does thier second year coach will be looking for a new job.
I think, forget Georgia Southern. They don’t deserve a #1 seed after proving to be too SCARED to honor a return trip to Fargo and play us. A true number 1 seed wouldn’t do that. Also, we’ll be a seeded team in this years playoffs.
Just play the games and see what happens.
I gotta believe that the MVFC champ will get a home game. I agree with Dom that both NDSU and UNI would be sellouts. Bring on the competition . . . Go Bison!
fargodome has the capacity, but our playoff attendance was terrible. that could affect the bids, and who gets homefield.

Fact 1: not a single FCS program will ever sell out a home playoff game over Thanks giving weekend.
NDSU led the first round games last year with I believe around 12k.
Fact 2: unseeded teams bid to host playoff games. The team that submits the highest bid – gets the game. Nothing else to it.
NDSU will outbid Montana St for the home game every time.
