If the Bison aren’t the number 1 ranked team in the nation this week it can only mean that these polls are worthless and mean nothing. Go Bison!
A case can be made for Montana State.
Are they undefeated? Did they beat the #2 team this week? And who won the game the last time NDSU played Montana State in the playoffs last year? Seems to me everything points to NDSU being #1 this week. It won’t matter at all if NDSU doesn’t take care of business at Indiana State this weekend.
According to Bison fans the polls are totally meaningless all year untill NDSU is ranked number 1. Everything else about the polls is garbage except for Bison’s ranking( if it favors NDSU). NDSU fans would prefer that they are ranked #1 and nobody else is even getting votes..
Polls don’t matter much the important thing is to keep winning. If the Bison keep winning everything takes care of itself. The Bison will be the #1 seed in the playoffs and will play all playoff games at home until the National Championship game in Texas. But no of that matters unless they keep winning. The Bison have a big game at Indiana State and they are desperate since they have to win out to make the playoffs so they will get ISU’s best shot. The Bison can’t have a letdown, they need to keep winning. If they lose this weekend all the feel good stuff from beating UNI goes out the door.
