Happy Holidays!

As we approach the Christmas holiday, I know I speak for Jeff in saying Happy Holidays to everyone, hope you have a great and safe couple of days! I’m sure many saw the article in the Forum the other day and to say I’ve been happy with what’s happened with the blog over the past couple of years would be a massive understatement.

Happy Holidays from the Bison Media Blog team!

So a big thank you to all of our readers and viewers over this past year, we’re going to take a little bit of a break over the next couple of days unless events warrant it, we’re gearing up for some big things come the week of the FCS Championship Game in Frisco.

With that said, I’ll leave you with this photo from Hawaii today of Ohio head coach Saul Phillips and Nebraska head coach Tim Miles, each former NDSU coaches that will face other tomorrow in the Diamond Head Classic, the game will be televised on ESPNU at 3pm.

An early Christmas present

A day removed from clinching a fourth straight trip to the FCS Championship Game, the NDSU coaching staff hit the road and in the process had one of the most successful recruiting days in recent memory, landing four commitments from Missouri to Florida.

Demaris Purifoy is the fourth verbal from yesterday, a 6’2, 180 pound running back from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and had a bunch of offers; including two from the FBS, New Mexico and Wyoming. Purifoy also had offers from Illinois State, UNI, Southern Illinois and SDSU.

This brings the total amount of known commitments up to 20 for the Class of 2015, with a few players choosing NDSU over FBS offers.
