My thoughts, Northern Iowa is ranked way too high with how tough its first 5 games are, and watch for Youngstown State, my sleeper pick to make a major move in 2012.

I agree about UNI, this may be the year that the panthers really struggle in conference play. They won some really close games last year, comming from behind. Watch out for Illinois State and YSU.
Us and Sam Houston will be back in the title game next season with the same result. In my opinion its the two of us, a wide gap, and than everyone else.

These days a message board poll is as relevant as any other.
That poll is better than the coaches poll. I guarantee the majority of the message board posters who vote in the AGS poll are more informed about other programs around the country than the SIDs who vote in the coaches poll.
montana and UNI are both way overrated, isub, ysu, and stony brook way underrated
A fan doesn’thave to look any further than UND being ranked last year to see how terrible the coaches poll is. I think Kolpack and Bohl both questioned that poll and pretty much proved that mistakes were made and the voters couldn’t even educate themselves on who was who. Once again they were riding on our coattails. I can’t believe they are even ranked 35th in this poll. Way to high.
As a former North Dakotan in California that follows both NDSU and UND, I’m not sure any mistakes were proved. I think UND stayed in the top 25 for the rest of the year. The only proving is if they can do it with a real schedule this year.

Inzane, Cut out the extra 20 or so scholarships and all the cheating at FBS and you’ll see where the joke is. FCS is the better division. Period.
yeah it appears most posters havent looked at the schedules. And if UNI is ranked too high, than SHSU is ranked way too high. @Baylor and @A&M are losses and Incarnate does not count. So they need to win at UCA or Lamar to even be playoff eligible and if they lose both (or one and at Nicholls) they are at 6 wins and limping into the playoffs after A&M smacks them around.
Ndsu should be fbs, aside from top 5,6 teams this is all garbage. Ndsu already proved they are fbs by goin 6-3 vs fbs with 22 less full rides.

I am sort of surprised that NDSU didn’t get all the votes. I don’t think any other school should of got any votes. NDSU deserved all the votes. The poll is a real crock.
The Suzies ranked and the Jacks completely unranked?? This poll has got its flaws.
