Bison D – well represented and well deserved!
Bison baseball could use some publicity from you guys. They beat the national champions Arizona in January.
So what? Cant try to hang on to stuff like that.
Ojuri & Perry disrespected. Niiiiice.
Marcus Brantley or chuks amechi Fresh of year.
I think Brock is underrated
I would put Grant Olson on the LB list also. If the O line gels and fills lost seniors, I smell repeat. Injuries always play a role, but I am pumped for the year to get started.
Drevlow is the best DT in the conference.
Brock Jensen is the only starting QB in the conference to win a National Championship.
Sam Ojuri was the leading rusher on the National Championship team.
Drevlow and Perry helped anchor the top defense in FCS.
And?
That means they should be on the preseason team.
QB is about winning and Brock Jensen won it all last year. These players are better than the other ones listed.
Winning championships does not make a player the best player at his position. Especially when said championship was won on the back of a dominating defense. See Trent Dilfer.
Brock Jensen had incredible stats last year as well. Prior to his turf toe injury he was completing about 75% of his passes and quite a few of them were not easy throws.
In the Championship game Brock was doing quite well until he got speared in the back in the first half.
I personally would take Brock as the Bison QB over all of the other QB’s in the conference.
Looks like a good list Jeff. It will be interesting to see how many you got right
