Did I just see a UND sponsor message at the opening of a BISON media blog? Classic!!
Oh my god, thats some major B.S.!!!!!
Too bad i cant watch these on my Android anymore. I get to watch the annoying Sue commercial and it never plays the blog. Has been doing this for a month
Will report this issue to somebody smarter than me.
Shhhh…don’t report the “issue”. Just take the advertising money from UND…no one here is going to convert to a UND fan because of the advertising! Probably the more times it runs the more it cost UND with no actual benefit.
Issue with the Android, advertising is not my deal.
Interesting. I got a warranty replacement a week ago and it doesn’t work on either. Tried different browsers. Strange it stops after the commercials. That’s obviously not your job but thanks for checking
Sdsu got an alex recruit 6 8 does ndsu even recruit minnesota or locals anymore its just odd
What the heck are you talking about?
Was the Alex kid a Basketball player or football player?
The Head Coach in Alex is former St. Cloud State star Forrest Witt. Witt and Bison MBB Dir. of OP’s Jared Swanson played HS ball together in Morris and are good friends. I’m sure they did their due diligence with Logan.
@kinger, NDSU’s last 2 MBB recruits were Dexter Werner, 6’6″ F from Bismarck and AJ Jacobson (Class of 2013), 6’5″ G from Fargo Shanley–so, yes, NDSU does recruit locally! The Bison have one scholarship left for the class of 2013. They did talk to Logan Doyle (the 6’8″ kid from Alexandria) and told him that they liked him, but they were looking for a guard to fill their last spot. You can’t recruit every good player, even area kids!
Noticed the indoor track facility in your recent “outdoors” blog. Would it be possible to do a video tour of the facility? Would be interesting to see.
Jemison tweet says the charge is race related? Interesting..
I have a question guys. Do you think if Jemison was the healthy player he was as a sophomore that he would have been booted so quickly? I’m not saying the Bison dumped him because he is damaged goods, as I don’t know all the circumstances, I am just wondering what you guys are thinking.
I just watched the video on Crockett. They said both him and Marcus Williams had academic issues which limited the schools they could go to.. It sure looks like NDSU is school to go to if you have a hard time to make it scholastically. It must be easy to make a grade at NDSU. . There both very good on the field though.
Yep, it’s so easy it took Crockett two years to qualify academically.
Yo, Frankie, do you think the Ohio State U or Michigan would allow a student athletic 2 (TWO) years to get his academic house in order to play football? Don’t be such a putz !!
Being academically eligible to play division I football is different than having the grades, ACT or SAT scores for university admissions.
Frank the reason he came to NDSU is the Big Ten schools have many kids with his talent they can recruit. They don’t mess with kids who dont have the grades. The Bison can’t always land a kid with FBS talent, so they go the extra mile to get a kid like this eligible. It is a win win for the Bison and the kids they help get into school. Go Bison!
PS-If Jemison is telling the truth about the wardrobe malfunction he deserves to get back on the team. All the talk of a rape and West Acres was way over the top. I would bet money that many football players have done far worse and remained on the team. Shamen Washington driving drunk for one. I don’t think Jemison was endangering any lives. This kid has been through two surgeries and he deserves to finish out his career in uniform no matter how much he plays. Obviously we have to see how it plays out legally, then I feel the Bison have a decision to make. Go Bison!
I think you need to hold off on campaigning to get him back on the team.
Tim I agree to wait and see what the actual details are.
Jimison getting kicked off the team is not fair to him. He has not been found guilty of anything. Here is a fact, Bohl has never kicked off a starter for offenses such as drugs, DUIs or other arrests. He is quick though to kick off a backup to make everything look good. See Shamen Washington, Lee Vandal or Sam Ojuri vs. backups Jemison, Troy Jackson or Sigers. The Best Buy, thefts, Howard trouble and drug busts don’t count, those were too serious. Jemison is getting the shaft on this one.
It does appear to be a double standard. It is like there is different set of rules for starters or stars.
Jemison is getting screwed….i can’t believe there isn’t more uproar over this.
Agreed and he isn’t really happy about it. His day to prove his innocense will come. Brandon Jemison of two years ago before hip surgery would not have been removed from the team until he was guilty.
I think if Bohl kicked him off the team that quick, I think there is a lot more that is not being said.
I am not sure how this Jemison situation occurred. The only thing I can figure figure out is Bohl preaches he wants more exposure for his football team and Jemison misunderstood what he meant.
