You mentioned during the Bohl press conference the current two deep, any chance you could post that? Even if just in a reply in the comments. Interested to see how some of the OL/Dback stuff is shaking out.
The two deep is on the NDSU football press release each week. Go to gobison.com, find the story about the upcoming game, and click on “North Dakota State Football Release”.
Cool, thanks for the tip Road.
$200K+ to bring in a Praire View…
That is why two FCS teams located 80 miles apart will restart the series.
Huh? So instead of actually making 200k over and above you can make 200k every other year? That nets out losing 200k and giving your market competition relevance. Doesn’t add up.
You can charge alot more money for a NDSU/UND game to make up for losing a home game every other year.
Personally I don’t care if we play them again. I just think the rising cost of travel and the increasing payouts NDSU has to make to teams to play us will eventually bring the series back.
But yea, it will happen eventually.
This person does not care about a UND game, unless it is played at the Fargodome, we do not need it. NDSU had over 6000 fans in Ft Collins Co. while UND had less than 9000 at home against a conference opponent. The quonset in Grand Forks would fill up only because of NDSU playing in it and UND fans would also step it up because someone would explain to them it is a rivalry game. UND is a decent team, and just like in basketball, a season it does not make just because you might defeat the Bison. That is just like Viking fans wanting a ring if they beat the packers one time a year.
NDSU is just fine without the constant whining about the lost rivalry game.
Go, soon to be FBS Bison.
Haha, go Zorbaz!
Like the Gophers, the best thing going for Prairie View was their band and now they’re not coming.
Robert Morris (0-3), Colorado State (1-2), Prairie A&M (0-3) combined records of 1-9. Prairie View is one of the worst programs in FCS football and set a national record for 80 straight losses between 1989-1998.
If after UNI, Youngstown and Ind. St. games our record is 6-0, then I think we should start to get excited about a repeat National Title run.
Toe to toe baby! LOL
No disrespect to MSUM but I think Prairie View and the Dragons would make for a good game.
Personally, I don’t care about the UND game either. As a season ticket holder, I would rather have six games at home every year and watch them play teams like the Gophers, Kansas State, Iowa State, etc instead of playing UND.
If we played UND at least the game would mean something. Tired of playing the likes of RMU and PV-A&M. For some of you who like the FBS games how can you stomach these bottom tier OOC games?
You have to stomach these games it is part of the process. When you play an FBS school and your conference is the toughest in the country you have to have some cupcakes. everyone does it. Only schools who are in trouble financially play two FBS schools. At least we didn’t sceduling Division II games like Northern Iowa did. The Bison are National champs and are scheduling to have a chance to do it again. If other teams thin NDSU played a weak schedule last year and thought they were better than the Bison, then why didn’t they just beat the Bison when they played them?Go Bison!
