It was a dominating performance by NDSU Saturday eliminating SDSU 28-3, holding the top rusher in the nation Zach Zenner to under 50 yards for the 2nd time in 4 weeks. The Bison now are in the quarters for the 3rd straight year and will host Wofford from the Southern Conference, join Jeff, E and I to break down the Bison win and a brief look ahead. Here’s next week’s schedule:
FRIDAY – Sam Houston State at Montana State, 7pm ESPN2
SATURDAY – Georgia Southern at Old Dominion, 11am ESPN
Wofford at NDSU, 2pm ESPN GamePlan
Illinois State at Eastern Washington, 5pm ESPN 3
The herd look as good from Colorado as they looked from Fargo!
Go Bison!

What a game! What a win! With the Dakota College Football Championship locked up the best College Football team in the Dakotas moves on! The Fabulious Fargo Dome will be rocking as the states largest and most prestigious sports venue moves into the national spotlight once again. In Americas most popular college sport that has been celebrated for well over 100 yrs on the nations college campuses the NDSU Bison continue their march to the top!
Without question SDSU & USD will be back at the drawing boards for next season. It’s the Dakota Big 3! In the meantime, they, and the other Dakota schools, ie SFU, not qualifying for Big 3 competition will join the rest of us Dakota college sports fans cheering The Bison on!
I dont know if this is the speaker in my house or something in Grant Olson’s voice, every time he says “DEFFER” everything in my house vibrates for 5 seconds like there was thunder or something.
Great game plan by the offensive coordinator Brent Vigen, SDSU coach mentioned “We cannot prepare for what we have not seen”
Vey good execution by Brock Jensen.
Hey guys, great game.
Just got a text from a friend stating three players left the team and claims the dinwiddie brothers are gone.
Is this a fact?
More information, please ……
Apparently it was posted on bisonville blog site, but I can neither confirm nor deny. I was hoping Dom or Jeff would know the story.
Yes, Craig Bohl confirmed today that the Dinwiddies and Jacob Davis left the team. No destination seems to be certain but they’ll still remain in school; Deveon Dinwiddie may go to a D2 program for his final year. DeShawn Dinwiddie may go to Hutchinson CC, but not play football
Brock is back!
Great stuff guys, both the pre and post game vids.
2 of the 4 playoff games next weekend will be on the major ESPN channels. why don’t they ever put NDSU games on? instead we’re stuck with ESPN GayPlan again. what a bunch of BS.
ESPN knows that Bison fans will pay extra money to watch their team play. Why not milk the golden cow they continue to screw with how they cover us?
It appeared that the other ESPN3 games were broadcast HD, but the Bison game was not.
The NCAA and ESPN have to love that the Bison are still playing and that they are still playing at home. The Bison sellout all of their playoff games and the fans pay extra money to watch on pay-per-view ESPN. The FargoDome is a great venue that has no weather issues for broadcasting the games. What is not to love about this for those two organizations?
I was happy to see Brock pass the ball a bit better in the first half. He is still having a bit of accuracy issues on the deeper balls, but with a defense like the Bison have it is better to be safe with the ball and not help the opponent.
Its not all ESPN fault. Please dont get blinded by mad love

Gene Taylor requested a Saturday game. It is better for many reason.
1. Extra day for preparation and rest.
2. Better for tailgating which leads to better game atmosphere.
3. More convenient for out of town fans to get to vs a Friday night.
Even if we wanted a Friday game this week, I don’t even think we could. The NCAA requires that a visiting team gets a walk through the day before the game and their is a health expo at the dome Thursday. I realize for Bison fans who can’t be at the game, this sucks. But our goal is not to be on ESPN, it is to win another national championship.
Great win for the Herd. I feel bad for the Jacks. They are a good team thta deserved a 1st round bye but in stead has to dispose of a pitifully inferior team that shouldn’t even be on the same field as a top tier MVFC team.
I can’t imagine better coverage than you guys are giving us.
We are probably only on Gameplan cuz there are likely better games to show and they don’t want to cover a blowout.
