I think this play needs a name. I mean “The Pitch” was also in the playoffs, right? This was the play that broke the backs of the Jacks. It was a knockout blow they could not rebound from. Some suggestions I have for consideration are “The Sneak”, “The Smitty Schuffle”, “The Exit #4″, or “The No One Near Veer.”
My suggested name for this play is the “Hiding Halfback” play. Deception at its finest.
I saw the interview with Ryan Smith where he said it was a play that Dexter McCluster ran while playing at Ole Miss.
I’ve watched it 20 times now and I never get tired of it. What a play…may never be used again??
