Well folks it’s been some kind of ride; what a terrific team performance from NDSU today in a dismantling of Sam Houston State to win the program’s 10th national championship and 2nd straight. This group found different things to motivate them from not being the consensus number one preseason pick to the loss to Indiana State, to having to play South Dakota State again in the playoffs to again facing the same team for the national championship and rose to each challenge. Join Eric, Jeff and I as we recap the game and put a bow on a terrific year of coverage of the 2012 team, we appreciate your faithful viewership of the blog and thanks to everyone who came up and said hello to us over the past 4 days!
Great job this year guys!!
Dom, Jeff and Eric,
Thank you for your hard work and fun this season. I really appreciate your efforts to inform and entertain. This Bison team was fun and frustrating at the same time. The defense won a lot of games for us no doubt and the offense started the year in Beast Mode, but fell flat after Indiana State until the championship. All in all a very rewarding season of Bison football. My hats off to Willie Fritz and SHSU, they really seem like a quality program with some scary good players. I hope we have the chance to play them more in the future.
What he said.
As long as we
1) remain healthy
2) maintain the chemistry (the BISON BROTHERHOOD),
3) keep all the petty ego issues aside and focus on whats better for the team
4) good spring workout
5) Continue to recruit good talent like this group
We should be in the ship every year.
E, Izzo and Jeff
You guys are awesome, you really got the crowd involved and were inspired the entire town and state to get behind our team.
Please continue your video blog. Ever since i started following you guys my life has been more interesting, please brain storm for ideas to continue this every week, may be start something on new Bison recruits or something.
Great stuff guys.
I think the game ball should have gone to the strength and conditioning coach, Kramer. There was no question that the Bison were better conditioned which is why they exploded in the second half. I think that is why Turner said what he said about being ready to dominate at the end of the first half. I am sure they could feel Sam getting gassed. The 12 days off could not have done the kitties any favors.
Thanks again gentlemen! Go Bison!!
Enjoyed your entertaining and informative shows this years. A great year for Fargo, for North Dakota, for NDSU and for the Missouri Valley Football Conference.
Go Bison!
GREAT JOB by you guys all year..
Thanks Dom, Jeff and Big E. you guys do a great job covering the Bison. There are 2 things that are very apparent watching you guys interact; 1. You love what you do, 2. You guys like each other a great deal. I think this form of information you provide is the best since it is raw and spontaneous all the time. Keep up the great work.
This Bison football team is going to have a great shot at the 3-peat. A great defense, I don’t see the Bison defense slipping at all, and a QB that makes plays will give you all the wins you need. Brock Jensen is a winner and that was apparent early on when he started to play.
You can’t slow down now guys. It is recruiting season and the Bison men’s basketball team is off to a great start on the season.
You also need to keep us up to date on the BSA renovation fundraising efforts.
Hail The Bison!
The March Is Still On!
Enjoyed the coverage it was great! Cant wait to see it get even bigger and better next season.
Congratulations to the NDSU football team for winning a second straight national championship. Congratulations also to all the people out of the spotlight who worked hard to support the effort.
This is well deserved, well-earned.
Thanks for entertains, informaning and giving the fan base a voice.
Any players need surgery after the season?
Will Grant Olson have his appendix looked at and possibly removed now that the season is over?
Does Travis Beck need shoulder surgery for the separation?
How much playing time did Esley Thorton get at linebacker in the championship game? Will they keep him at an outside linebacker position or move him to backup for middle linebacker?
Surgery done.
I did a bunch of research and looked up some stuff on my laptop that I bought with my money instead of going to the game in Frisco. Jensen is #3 on the all time great QB list for NDSU. As an aside I searched on the Internet and discovered he would have been #1 at UND but I obsess on them too much. I also found out from the internet there are no operations scheduled for any Bison players in the 25 hospitals I searched with my dell laptop computer from renaissance, it’s a honey. Also, is it the horns or the #1 salute? I’m having a little trouble with my power adaptor and I can’t run metro right now either until I defrag this hard disk so I’ll get back to you guys with that one, ok? Ps. I bought used so I could keep using my printer and external drive. Is pretty neat!
WTF?
I got a new dell. I didn’t go to the game. I look stuff up on the Internet.
