  1. Maybe the MVC should invite Butler from the A-10 and not get rid of anybody…

    • Butler is very likely going to the Big East, along with Creighton, Xavier, St Louis and Dayton.

  2. Those shots of Gene Taylor and Lynn Dorn tell you all you need to know about women’s basketball at NDSU.

NB: If you attended any women’s volleyball games last fall you saw the same thing (when Lynn showed up for a game, that is). I think that story got buried by the football team’s success.

Carolynn and Kari need to step up their programs during the offseason or no one will be sorry to see them go.

  3. On women’s side, SDSU should be the heavy favorite in home State. They should only fear IUPUI who beat them twice amazingly. But this is old hat for the lady Jacks and they win it.
On men’s side, as long as Western Illinois has injury issues with their big man, it should come down to SDSU-NDSU. But that is a big if. Saul and the boys have let the Leathernecks take control of the head to head matchup. Not sure if Oakland or IPFW have an upset in them to take down SDSU, they may spend too much time beating themselves up in the opening round. I would love to be a homer and pick the Bison and I do wish they would win the Tourney, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s SDSU.

  4. I heard that..one positive thing for dehoff, was.. that UND was going hard after Lemar during last spring. She was on the same recruiting trip and chose to be a Bison after visits to both schools back to back… Googling her looks good…
