Apparently NDSU only knows to either leave early or stay for the whole thing at the Summit League Tournament, the Bison finally found a way to crack thru Western Illinois’ defense and earn a trip to the Summit League Championship Game and
a chance at the NCAA Tournament. The Bison
got great games from Trayvonn Wright and Taylor Braun and now for the 2nd time this
sports season will face the Jacks with everything on the line. Here’s Jeff and Jody with complete thoughts from Sioux Falls!
Should be a great game between NDSU and SDSU. Wolters and SDSU will be a tough one to beat in SF. The Bison need to cut down the turnovers and get another game like last night out of Wright and Braun.
Come on boys let’s go dancing! GO BISON!!!
Congrats to the Bison for making the conference final on ESPN! More great exposure for recruiting!
Very excited for tonight’s game. If the Bison shoot better and have less turnovers in the 1st half they will win. How’s that for a bold prediction? Ha!
I think the Bison can win. The thing is they will have to play their best game of the year. Even when they beat the Jacks in Fargo it was close at the end. Wolters just wills this team to wins. Last night they were down big at the start and he and Chad White brought them back by halftime. You knew that game was over at halftime. They are well coached and remind me of the Bison football team, they always make great halftime adjustments and come flying out of the locker room in the 2nd half. If they shoot the 3 like they did last night they will win. The Bison have to play great perimiter defense and they have to hit the boards, they can’t give the Jacks 2 or 3 shots every possession. Bison have to start fast like IPFW and then hold on. That huge South Dakota crowd will really help the Jacks just like Bison fans help our football team. Should be great I wish I was there! My head says Jacks-75 Bison-61, but my heart says Bison-59 Jacks-56. P.S.- Aaron Lien had 43 for the Spuds last night. I really think the Bison missed out on this kid. I know they didn’t have a scholarship it is just too bad. Go Bison!
I’m glad both teams are at full strength – may the better team win. I hope whoever wins this game can also win a first-round game in the NCAAs. I don’t think making the round of 68 should be a goal. Somehow our conference has to get over that hump.
