FCS Pick ‘Em – Week 10

We have entered the final month of the regular season and the tension is high, the race to win the Pick ‘Em Nickel (right, Jeff on one side, Dom on the other) is too tight to call and this weekend’s games could go a long way to determine a champion, on to the picks, there are some good games!

  1. I do get a kick of your “Varsity” label. If UNI doesn’t right the ship this week, it will be shocking.

  2. Eastern Illinois
    Tennessee State
USD- I know I am going for the upset here. USD-23 YSU-19
    Northern Iowa
    Missouri State
    Southern Illinois
    Villanova
    Montana State
    Montana
    Sam Houston State
    Towson
    Northern Arizona-33 UND-17
    McNeese State
    Miami-26 Florida State-24
Do the Vikings win another game this season? If so who do they beat?

  3. Glad to see you both picked FSU to win. I would be great to see the Seminoles win the BCS championship this year. Tomahawk Chop restored.

  4. Marshall Bjorklund can score alot inside against smaller players but that won’t last for long. He needs to take an occasional 10 -15 footers and make just one, and inside will open like a daisy.

  5. Not that I can blame you on paper anyway, but you’re going to regret not picking USD. Frankly I don’t think it’ll be that big an upset.

    • I really hope you’re right about USD beating Youngstown. That would be a great deflating loss for YSU, then UNI can beat YSU down some more before the Herd takes them on. Would be a great start to their demoralizing final four games. I’m really hoping the MVFC ends up with 4 teams with at least 8 wins to make the playoff talk really interesting.

      • If everyone keeps beating each other (except the Bison, of course) there will not be 4 teams with 8 wins….

  7. Boy is Purdue terrible. I’m betting they will be firing their coach this year. So with Nebraska more than likely firing Pelini and the Purdue opening it looks like at least 2 openings in the Big Ten.

I don’t know if you can win at Purdue. Joe Tiller seems to be the only one to do it recently and he really was only able to win with Drew Brees as his QB.
