Bison PostGame Show vs Cal Poly

North Dakota State opened defense of its national championship with a resounding 49-3 win over Cal Poly.

The Bison rushing attack was unstoppable racking up 458 yards and six rushing touchdowns.

Bruce Anderson picked up where he left off at the Fargodome, last December he tied an NDSU record with five touchdowns, Saturday he rushed for a career high 185 yards and two touchdowns in the Bison win. Lance Dunn, playing in his first game at the Dome since he tore his labrum last October, ran for 65 yards and three touchdowns.

The Bison defense held in check Cal Poly’s triple option offense, keeping them out of the endzone, holding former All-American Joe Protheroe to 57 yards and picking up six sacks.

Join Jeff Kolpack, Mike McFeely, Eric Peterson and myself as we recap the Bison win and look at other games around the FCS.
