Bye-Week Blitz: NDSU Streak After Open Date at 12 Years, 26 Games

The story on NDSU’s success after an open week can be found here and in The Forum newspaper on Wednesday. It’s quite an impressive run that dates back 12 years. The last time the Bison lost after not playing the week before was in 2005 when UC Davis beat NDSU 20-14 on homecoming. Since then, the Bison have won 26 straight games after a bye week — including the five FCS national championship wins.
