Cole Davis; a Rare Breed in College Football

Cole Davis; a Rare Breed in College Football

North Dakota State begins its playoff journey tomorrow afternoon when they host San Diego in the second round of the FCS Playoffs.

For the first time since September 23rd, Cole Davis will be the backup quarterback to Easton Stick. Davis suited up for the final two games and told me he could just hand off the ball if needed, and did so in the blowout win over South Dakota. Now his injured shoulder is healthy and he’s ready if called upon.

His story is rare in Division 1 college football, a quarterback who decided to stay at one spot knowing he wouldn’t be the guy. Check out this story.
