Gearing Up for Frisco

Gearing Up for Frisco

Alrighty folks, we’re back and ready to roll! Thanks for a couple of days off, also we apologize for any issues of trying to access the blog, we’re still working some kinks out and hopefully those will be gone ASAP.

NDSU resumed practice Monday in preps for the FCS title game on January 10th.

Just a couple of quick updates late tonight, we’ll get a first visit with the players tomorrow afternoon after they returned from a few days off:

  • No update yet on Zach Vraa’s status for the title game, head coach Chris Klieman thought they wouldn’t know anything until game week.
  • For those that missed it last week; NDSU will be the designated ROAD team in Frisco and wearing its white jerseys, Illinois State will be the home team in its red jerseys.
  • Some early comments here from Illinois State head coach Brock Spack on the matchup with the Bison.
  • Pat Reusse with the story on Carlton Littlejohn’s road to NDSU.
  • This stat might be the most ridiculous that I know of; if NDSU wins the championship  they’ll have more national titles (4) than losses (3) over the past four years.

We also have determined our coverage plans for Frisco:

  • FARGO TO FRISCO: LIVE on WDAY, Friday, January 9th 7-8pm from Frisco
  • Bison Media Blog PreGame Show: LIVE on WDAY’Z Xtra, Saturday, January 10th; 8-8:30 am
  • Kolpack and Izzo: LIVE on 970 WDAY and WDAY’Z Xtra, Saturday, January 10th; 9-11 am
We’ll have live reports starting Wednesday the 7th from Texas, along with daily video blogs. It’s going to be quite a few days and we’re preparing accordingly. We appreciate your patience with the blog and we’ll be ready to roll!
