NDSU is working hard to get 3 home games televised this season and one thing I’ve always wondered is how that will affect the gate.  Montana Grizzlies have all games home and away on TV.  So I guess if you go by the following story out of AP Montana, it shouldn’t hurt:

MISSOULA – Tickets for the 2007 University of Montana Grizzly football season, including individual games, are SOLD OUT. Single-game tickets were made available to the public on Wednesday, August 1, and all of them were sold in less than an hour.

Season tickets for the season are also sold out at a record number of almost 17,000 and there is a waiting list of approximately 1,800. UM students are allotted 3,360 tickets and can begin picking them up on August 27th.

“It’s incredible to think we’ve already sold out our season on Aug. 1 – both in terms of season tickets and individual game tickets – a full month before we take the field,” said UM Athletic Director Jim O’Day.

“This is another example of why our east side expansion project is so important at this time,” O’Day said. “Obviously support for Grizzly football is at an all-time high. We’d like to thank our fans for their tremendous support in anticipation of our exciting season ahead!”
