Jeff’s Top 25 Poll Vote: UNH, What Happened?

Jeff’s Top 25 Poll Vote: UNH, What Happened?

Just when you get on the New Hampshire bandwagon the Wildcats pull something like this: get crushed by Holy Cross 51-26. That was the big surprise last week in the FCS and the result put the Wildcats out of the early conversation for a top four playoff seed on my ballot in this week’s top 25 media poll.

UND also didn’t do itself any favors, not so much with the loss, but in the manner of how the Hawks got beat. They got soundly beaten. The Coyotes are playing as well as anybody and I elevated them to No. 4 with the FBS win in their back pocket. As for the Big Sky, Southern Utah put some saving grace into the league defeating Northern Iowa at home.

My homework this week: how did a MEAC team like North Carolina A&T beat FBS North Carolina-Charlotte?

  1. James Madison (3-0)
  2. North Dakota State (2-0)
  3. South Dakota State (3-0)
  4. South Dakota (3-0)
  5. Sam Houston State (2-0)
  6. Jacksonville State (1-1)
  7. Villanova (2-1)
  8. Youngstown State (2-1)
  9. North Carolina A&T (3-0)
  10. The Citadel (3-0)
  11. Western Illinois (2-0)
  12. New Hampshire (2-1)
  13. Richmond (2-1)
  14. Illinois State (2-0)
  15. Wofford (2-0)
  16. Tennessee State (3-0)
  17. Central Arkansas (2-1)
  18. Nicholls (2-1)
  19. Eastern Washington (1-2)
  20. Samford (2-1)
  21. Howard (1-2)
  22. Elon (2-1)
  23. Weber State (2-1)
  24. UT Martin (2-1)
  25. North Dakota (1-2)
